As a fifth-generation native to the Evant area, Calvin has a deep-rooted love for this community and the surrounding area. He has been an active member in his community and has served on several boards throughout the years. Before beginning his career in real estate, he owned and operated a small business in town.In 1979 he earned his real estates license and four years later, after obtaining his brokers license, Calvin opened Burks Real Estate. For the past 40 years he has had the pleasure of serving buyers and sellers in Evant, Gatesville, Hamilton, and the surrounding areas. During this time Calvin has not only gained extensive knowledge of the land and the Central Texas Real Estate market, but have also built good working relationships with lenders, escrow officers, appraisers, and fellow brokers/agents.He really enjoys helping clients through what can be a difficult time. He strives to always serve clients with honesty and integrity. With his knowledge and experience he can provide clients with the resources and tools that they need to feel confident when buying or selling real estate.
