Who should use TrueParity?

TrueParity is for anyone that wants to find the best agents when they’re thinking about selling their home.

Is TrueParity free? How does TrueParity make money?

TrueParity is always 100% free for homeowners. Agents must pay to win leads, when homeowners request to connect with them. For current agent pricing, please refer to our pricing page or reach out to our team.

If I input my address on TrueParity, who can see it?

Nobody. We do not share or publicize your property information. Only if you request introductions to agents found via TrueParity will we (discreetly) contact those agents.

Can someone at TrueParity just handle the entire process for me?

Absolutely! We offer complimentary white glove service. Just call or contact us, and our team will handle everything for you.

What if i have questions about my results?

Feel free to call or contact us. Additionally, our team will be happy to further customize some of the formula weightings to produce the most applicable results based on your priorities. We can also provide more information on specific agents or deliver additional pages of results.

Can TrueParity find agents in my neighborhood?

Yes! We will find the best agents for any property in any neighborhood. If you do not see any recommended agents, contact us and we'll send you results via your preferred method.

How do sellers pay agents found via TrueParity?

Agent compensation is negotiated directly between homeowner and agent. The TrueParity team is happy provide general guidelines and advice, but ultimately any commission fees are determined by the terms of the listing agreement.

Why should I use TrueParity instead of an agent who is a friend/family member?

A number of reasons. First, research has proven that using a top local expert results in better outcomes than a lower-quality agent. If your friend/family member is not at that level, you are already at a disadvantage. Even if your friend/family member is accomplished, there’s still no guarantee they are the best agent for YOUR home. Your home and your needs will never be 100% the same as another seller. So the best agent for someone else may not be the best agent for you – especially if they aren’t an expert in your local market. An objective analysis of performance data is the only way to properly evaluate agent fit. Also, bringing personal referrals into stressful transactions can place an unwelcome strain on your relationships. And finally, let’s face it. The odds that the perfect listing agent for your home is someone you already know are slim; we want to help leverage the odds in your favor!

Is TrueParity a real estate brokerage?

No. We are a platform that works with the best agents from all different brokerages.

Do I sign a listing agreement with TrueParity?

No. You will negotiate the exact terms of representation with the agent you want to work with; you only sign a listing agreement with them, not TrueParity.

Should I always choose the first agent / agent with the highest match score?

Not necessarily. Personality fit, communication preferences, and other intangibles are valid criteria when selecting an agent to handle your sale. While all the agents with high match scores are great candidates for your property, we recommend connecting with a couple in order to determine who is your preferred option.

Are there any obligations to award my listing with agents identified by TrueParity?

No. You are free to use TrueParity to find agents, communicate with the TrueParity team, and meet / negotiate with agents as you please. There's no pressure to move forward until you're ready.

Can I talk to an agent before I'm 100% ready to sell?

Of course! Top agents understand it's a significant decision and are happy to help you plan ahead. You can meet and discuss your needs with any agent found on TrueParity before making a decision.

Do you offer different account tiers?

All homeowners are given premium (and free) accommodation – there are no tiers for sellers!

If I find an agent I like on the platform, can I just bypass TrueParity entirely and contact them directly to negotiate?

No. This is in direct violation of our terms and conditions. Do not attempt to completely circumvent TrueParity (our system will detect this). NOTE: Once an introduction has been made via TrueParity, the formal listing agreement will be signed outside the platform – this is normal and totally compliant with our terms and conditions.

How do you calculate agent recommendations?

Our system analyzes the latest real estate transaction data to identify the best agents for your property. We factor things such as: career experience, sales volume, transaction proximity, days on market, close rate, price point, property type, and more. Then, we calculate a match score for each agent relative to your property and show you the top candidates.

For Agents
Can any agent join TrueParity?

Yes. We allow any real estate agent with an active license to claim their profile, pending verification from our team. There is no cost to claim your profile.

Why do agents love TrueParity?

Agents love us because we bring new clients right to their fingertips. TrueParity significantly reduces all the time and money spent finding listings.

Can I bypass TrueParity after they connect me with a homeowner?

No. If you sign a listing agreement with someone introduced by TrueParity, you are required to report that to us, per our terms.

Can I change my profile photo?

Of course. We encourage agents to claim their profile and customize their profile as desired.

Can I be removed from TrueParity’s system?

Yes. If you do not want homeowners to find you via TrueParity, please contact us and we will exclude you from our recommendation results.
